It worked in the 80’s and it’s back to kick some hair arse in 2017. Whether you’re sporting a short, mid or long do, slicking your hair back can work for you. This 80’s throwback adds a touch of sophistication with little effort and there are lots of versions of slick you can work with. Get as creative or as simple as you dare.

Hair accessories

From the unusual (hair belts as a ponytail ties) to the ornate. Hair accessories are firmly on the agenda to add a sparkle of interest and have you feeling like an instant princess or a reincarnation of Axel Rose (think headbands). If you are bejewelling your hair, why not wear your bling on the side to create visual interest that everyone can admire. Break out your best black velvet ribbons to draw your hair back in a loose ponytail or go avant-garde with a rustic hessian gathering. However, you choose to accessorise do it with personality.
